Open Chess Game Play: All ages and skill-levels welcome!

When: Every Tuesday evening 7:15 pm - 11pm (or so) * * * * * Where: Aurora Turners Club, 1335 Mitchell Rd., in the Banquet Hall, downstairs.

This is just north of Indian Trail, in Aurora, east of Lake Street, west of Farnsworth.

ANCC is affiliated with the US Chess Federation and the Illinois Chess Association.

We win!!!!!!!!!

MlxAcc, our combined team of players from ANCC and from the company Molex, achieved our first victory last night ( 17 Jan.) over the Pawns. It was a tough match, with the win coming down to the last match of the night.  Even our losses were close games, that could have went either way in the middlegame.
Final score:  MlxAcc 3.5 pts.  Pawns 2.5 pts.

Thank you to all the players!!!  I expect our next round to happen next week, so players, stay tuned for our follow up to this great match.
