Looking forward to a good crowd
Last week we had our largest group in a while. It was great to see some new faces and I hope our attendance will continue to trend up. I look forward to seeing some of those who joined us for the first time come back on a regular basis! We will be meeting again on Tuesday for a night of chess yet again.

Candidates Tournament
For those of you who may be unaware, the Candidates Tournament is currently taking place and the last round is schedule for next Monday, April 1st. The winner of the Candidates Tournament earns the right to play Vishy Anand for the title of World Champion!
The website for the tournament can be found here and the site to follow the games as they are played live can be found here with analysis of the games. After round 11 out of 14, Magnus Carlson leads the field with 7.5/11 while former world Champion Vladimir Kramnik follows closely with 7/11 and Levon Aronian has 6.5/11 after losing his last two games. Perhaps we can glean a lesson or two out of going through the games of these phenomal players.
